Chicago Magazine has named Zully Alvarado one of its six Chicagoans of the year for 2011, thanks to the work she did through her Causes for Change International organization, which has continuously given medical supplies and information to the needy in Ecuador – a shipment of 550 wheelchairs was recently distributed through the charity. Alvarado, a Landmark Forum graduate, originally formed Causes for Change back in 1996 as her project in Landmark Education’s Self-Expression and Leadership Program. Watch Alvarado on the video below.
