‘I Am Pretty Powerful’ Has Hairstylists Fight Domestic Violence

More than 100 free makeovers are going to woman impacted by domestic violence.

Monica Clark’s project in the Landmark Self-Expression and Leadership Program in Washington, DC, has hairstylists giving free makeovers to over 100 women in under 100 days in an effort to aid those impacted by domestic violence.

  1. During my landmark forum, 12 years ago, one of my mates faced domestic violence by her father at a very young age. She wasn’t able to trust any other man since then and her life was a wreck. Its project like these that create awareness and are a step forward to make a difference in the society.
