Amal to Alert Women in Middle East and North Africa to Their Rights

The Orange County Register is writing about a project spearheaded by a Landmark graduate to create an online portal for women in the Middle East and Africa to be able to easily access a register of their legal rights.

A project being created in Landmark’s Self-Expression and Leadership Program aims to support disenfranchised women in the Middle East and North Africa know their rights and be able to confidentially process legal document. Named after a popular Middle Eastern name for girls, the platform aims to inform users of their legal rights by links to data sources collected by the United Nations and other entities.
