In 1997, Pamela Moore received a bone marrow donation that saved her life – she was able to recover from Leukemia. Becuase there were no compatible donors in Moore’s family, she received a donation through the National Marrow Registry. Now Moore has created a project in Landmark Education’s Self-Expression and Leadership Program to raise awareness about the critical need for marrow donors, and to have people register as possible donors with the National Marrow Registry – there remains a critical shortage of donors, and many people are unable to get the life saving treatment they need. Watch Moore’s video below.
