David Cunningham, Landmark Forum Leader and Landmark Education Spokesperson, recently appeared on NBC News in Connecticut about creating an inspiring job in the midst of the current recession.
Cunningham talks about three key principles to do this: 1) Creating a Clear picture of what you want, borrowing other people's brains/ideas, and 3) realizing that you are not stuck with any particular way of being or acting that you think you might be stuck with. Using these principles, Cunningham talks about having a job that is truly fulfilling without having to settle for something less.

Great Advice David, here are some resources I found to be useful in this type of life pursuit. 1. http://www.Landmarkeducation.com 2. The book Strengthfinders 2.0 by Tom Rath and 3. Ekhart Tolle's "A New Earth" – Specifically I added the final one because the books points to an innate human capacity that one can develop to witness "your being" in the world. Best of luck!
