Global Giving Circle Offers Laughs at Holiday Disfunction for a Cause
Global Giving Circle, the unique New York based charitable organization created in part by Landmark Education graduate Shana Dressler, is holding an unusual holiday extravaganza – ChrismaHanuKwanzakah – to celebrate the season and raise money for Urban Arts Partnership, a non-profit organization which contributes to forming arts programs in underserved New York City schools.
The event, the full name of which is ChrismaHanuKwanzakah: A Holiday Anxiety-Relief Spectacular, is being held Wednesday, December 16th at 7pm, at the Galapagos Arts Space in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Entertainment is being provided through improv provided by the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, which will have fun with holiday disfunction.
The evening will also feature difference making holiday gift buying opportunities, at the Global Giving Circle’s gift emporium, Global Gifts that Matter, which features a unique range of jewelry, handcrafts, chocolates, bags, clothing and more, purchases of which benefit a variety of good causes.
Tickets cost $25 – to purchase them, go to the event website. To find out more about Dressler or the Global Giving Circle read some of Landmark Education News’ previous stories about Dressler and the GCC here and here.
